A day out at Pickity Place

Last Saturday, the Driftwood Garden Club traveled north to Pickity Place in Mason, New Hampshire. It was a chilly, peaceful day in the countryside as we explored the gardens, the greenhouse, the cottage that inspired the illustrations for Little Red Riding Hood, and the eclectic gift shop. Of course, the highlight of the day was the multi-course gourmet lunch in the cottage dining room.

A new year at the DGC

It's a new year at the DGC, and Kathy Bradford and Rosie Dalton have put together a fantastic schedule of programs for members to enjoy. Check out the details under 2015-2016 Calendar.

In the meantime, it finally feels like fall, and I'd love to post some fall photos of members' gardens. They don't have to be from this year-- any photos that give some ideas of how to include fall color in our gardens. Busy Spring for DGC

It's been a busy spring for members of the Driftwood Garden Club.

Our plant sale-- organized by our hard-working Ways and Means Committee (led by Ellen Nash)-- was a huge success, and our 2014-2015 program year closed with our annual luncheon last Saturday. The luncheon was a great opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day at Sallie's home and to thank all those board members who contribute time and energy to organizing our club--particularly outgoing presidents Dayna P. and Jan F., and outgoing program chairs Dianne B. and Marcia D.
